Recent food and drink price surges stall as Brexit nears

CGA Prestige Foodservice Price Index reveals prices are now levelling, though inflation remains at more than twice the rate of a year ago. The most significant current threat to supply availability and cost is the prospect of a no-deal Brexit, with the biggest challenge being with short shelf-life products such as salad leaf.

Brits splash out on date night dining, reveals CGA’s eating out research 

Exclusive report by CGA reveals that British consumers spend the most on dining out when they’re on a date – even more than they spend on any other occasion. The average British consumer goes out to eat 63 times a year, and goes out for a drink 85 times a year, according to CGA Food Insights19, a newly released report on eating out compiled by out of home food and drink research company CGA.
