All-day neighbourhood café and restaurant Megan’s is opening a two-floor, 4,300 square feet site in Surbiton before the end of the year—a ninth location for the brand. Megan’s first opened on the King’s Road in London, and now has other sites in Balham, Battersea, Clapham, Islington, Kensington, Parsons Green and St Albans. The deal for the Surbiton launch was brokered by Shelley Sandzer.

Yard Sale Pizza is opening a sixth pizzeria in East Dulwich in November. Its six current restaurants are in Clapton, Finsbury Park, Hackney, Leytonstone, Walthamstow.

German Doner Kebab has just opened in Bradford as it continues a rapid rollout. It now has nearly 50 locations in the UK, and is currently recruiting for new sites that it has lined up in Batley, Blackburn, Newcastle, Northampton, Peterborough, Plymouth and Ruislip.

Italian pizza restaurant Zia Lucia says it will open a fifth London restaurant in Wandsworth in December. It will join locations in Aldgate, Hammersmith, Islington and Wembley.

Coco di Mama is to start reopening from early November, with a first batch of five London sites relaunching on 4 November.

The Gordon Ramsay Restaurants group is opening a Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant within Harrods in London before the end of the year. The brand first launched in Las Vegas.

The Cheshire Pub Co is opening a major new 6,000 square feet pub restaurant called The Churchill Tree in Alderley Park shortly, having taken over a Grade II listed building there. The Cheshire Pub Co has four other venues around Cheshire.

Portuguese tart specialist Café De Nata is opening a 600 square feet unit on Camden High Street in mid-November. It joins other London sites for the brand in Hammersmith, Soho and South Kensington. Also just signed by LabTech, owner of Camden Market, is a second restaurant for Soho’s Ugly Dumpling concept in the Asian Alley of the market.

Mediterranean café chain Ori Caffe has opened within the John Lewis store in Newcastle. The brand already has sites in Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Peterborough, Reading, York and the Bluewater shopping centre. The food and drink operation in John Lewis was run by Fllmore & Union until it fell into administration in the summer.

The Arome Bakery Singaporean concept on Frith Street in Soho is opening a second site on Mercer Street in Covent Garden. Arome was co-founded by Singaporean restaurateur Ellen Chew and Alix Andre.

Carnaby-based Indian restaurant Darjeeling Express is relocating to a much bigger site on Garrick Street in Covent Garden from mid-November, in a unit previously occupied by Carluccio’s. The new 120-cover site will have a deli as well as a restaurant.
