Dishoom is reopening four sites from 10th July with the remaining estate following throughout the rest of July. Sites in Shoreditch, King’s Cross, Carnaby and Manchester will be the first to welcome guests back this week, with a maximum of 6 guests allowed per table.

Bistrot Pierre has reopened five sites this week, in Stratford-upon-Avon, Derby, Plymouth, Eastbourne and Torquay.

The founder of Coffi Co has launched a gin and bakery concept in Cardiff, initially Gin & Bake will be operating a takeaway model until Government restrictions for dine-in customers in Wales are lifted.

Itsu is continuing its phased reopenings with a further 9 sites, including Manchester and Leeds, for takeaway and delivery, although no plans have yet been made for welcoming back dine-in customers.

Brewhouse & Kitchen has begun site reopenings this week, with Southbourne the first to begin welcoming back diners. A further site will be opened every day this week, increasing to two sites per day from next week to keep pressure on individual sites low.

Pret a Manger has reopened doors again for dine-in customers in all stores, with a maximum of 4 people to a table as part of its safety measures. To coincide with the launch of the summer menu, Pret will also be trialling an evening delivery service .

The Ivy Collection has announced plans to reopen a further 4 sites from Wednesday July 15 following the successful reopening last weekend of 17 sites across England. The four newest sites to be welcoming back dine in customers are in Soho, Tower Bridge, Kensington and St John’s Wood.

Scottish bar and restaurant operator Buzzworks is to begin phased reopenings of its 12 strong estate with four sites initially open from Wednesday July 15.

Japanese ramen and street food chain Shoryu Ramen has opened Carnaby and Regent Street sites for dine-in customers this week with the remaining sites across the capital and in Manchester and Oxford reopening throughout the rest of the summer.

Spanish restaurant group Brindisa Kitchens has reopened 3 sites with outdoor seating across London this week for dine-in customers, following the successful delivery operation they have been running for the last few weeks.

Yotam Ottolenghi has reopened the first of his four dine-in sites in London. Rovi is now offering outdoor seating and a virtual queueing system to facilitate social distancing measures.

KFC has reopened for dine-in customers at 100 sites this week, while still operating reduced opening hours and a limited menu.

Healthy eating brand Friska has this week opened 2 of its 11 strong estate for dine-in, with floor markings and Perspex screens in place to ensure safety of staff and customers.

Wright Brothers has reopened sites in Borough Market and Battersea with al fresco dining available at both locations.

Filipino restaurant concept Romulo Café & Restaurant is planning to reopen on Friday July 10 with a reduced menu, screens between tables and PPE available for all dine in customers.

Kibou Sushi, the Japanese kitchen and bar concept, has opened its second site in Battersea, after the launch originally planned for April was delayed due to lockdown.

Healthy fast food brand Leon has begun gradual reopenings for dine-in customers this week, starting with 5 sites across London opening last weekend.

Following the successful reopening of 21 sites last weekend, Whitbread is planning to continue gradually opening locations under all three brands throughout the rest of July and August.

Nando’s has opened 10 sites across the UK for dine-in on Wednesday July 8, with virtual queuing and order and pay via a QR code introduced to limit staff contact with customers. There will also be limited capacity in venues and a reduced menu on offer.

Michelin-starred Tom Kitchin is planning to reopen two Kitchin Group sites in Scotland on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16, with further reopenings planned for the end of the month.
