The UK’s hottest drinks trends will be unveiled on 27 November at Drink Tank, a major new summit from the Morning Advertiser in partnership with CGA.

The exclusive event will bring operators and suppliers together to identify the big opportunities in the drinking-out market. From spirits to cocktails to wine to beer to no and low alcohol options, sessions will range far and wide across categories to highlight the very latest consumer habits, new products and innovations. It will be fully interactive, with multiple rooms, hands-on sessions, tastings and more.

CGA speakers at Drink Tank will include strategic initiatives director Rachel Weller, client services director Jonathan Jones and commercial director Graeme Loudon. They will join forces to provide overviews of the latest research into categories, consumers and influencers across the sector, plus results of CGA’s survey of leaders and tips for picking the right locations for openings. Jamie Campbell, chief commercial officer at CPL Online, will meanwhile show how drinks training can energise teams and improve customer satisfaction.

The event will also hear direct from three operators about creating memorable drinking experiences, and cover pricing strategies, the latest tech and the big issue of sustainability. There will be a political perspective on the drinks sector from MP Mike Wood, as well as views from a panel of consumers and the festival sector, and masterclasses on cocktails and low and no alcohol drinks.

Drink Tank will be an essential one-stop shop for pub, restaurant, hotel, leisure and contract catering groups seeking to sharpen up their buying, marketing and sales practices, and for suppliers seeking to reach buyers. It takes place at the America Square Conference Centre on Wednesday 27 November, and the headline sponsor is Diageo.
