The Sage 200 Suite 2010 now follows a blend of the four key themes; competitive advantage, customer experience, innovation and compliance. The Sage 200 2010 release focuses on a combination of usability improvements, customer-led wish-list items, legislation changes and innovative new developments reflected in market trends.

Competitive advantage
Sage 200 2010 now comes with purchase order authorisation and remote authorisation alerts. Sage has made significant improvements in this release and made remote authorisation available as standard. This brings a unique selling point, as Sages key competitors rely on third-party solutions to provide this option.

Customer Experience
New report designer and underlying reporting layer. By adapting and including the new Sage report designer in the Sage 200 2010 Sage are making the upgrade route for our customers easier.

Project Accounting enhancements 
One of the most popular wish-list requests from Sages project accounting base was to improve performance for larger sites and allow project views to be filtered to show only relevant projects.

Installation improvements
Since introducing the suite and accounting and CRM elements, installing Sage 200 has proved more time consuming and complex. So Sage have worked to improve this to make installation easier and give a more consistent look and feel across the suite.

CRM enhancements
With the 2010 release Sage have decided to hide the account entity to help streamline processes and meet the demands of the majority of our customers.

Coming soon
Sage 200 Mobile is a new and innovative project for Sage as they move into the remote access world and hyper connectivity. Sage 200 will be the first Sage Suite to give the remote workforce access to necessary information on their mobile devices at the touch of a button.

Manufacturing BOM
Currently Sages manufacturing modules are not amendable, making them inconsistent with the rest of the Sage 200 Suite. The strategic initiative to re-write the BOM module signifies the first step in this project  consolidating Sage 200 Manufacturing BOM and Sage 200 BOM (previously MMS BOM) into a single source code.

Compliance
On Line VAT Submission will become compulsory for customers with a turnover of over L100,000 in April of 2010. The 2010 release will include the ability to electronically submit VAT Returns and payments for them via the government’s gateway.

Leading software house, Sage has recognised the need of companies to consolidate all software applications and processes and has released Sage 200 Suite which comprises the following applications. All offer seamless integration which will avoid duplication of data and save you time. Some applications are charged as optional extras.

Sage 200 Financials is included as part of the Sage 200 Platform, the basis of the Sage 200 Suite. It offers the core accounting ledgers, giving you great financial control. Building on the Financials modules, Sage 200 Commercials comprises a number of further modules covering Sales and Purchase Order processing, Stock and Pricing.
