All-day restaurant and bar concept Balans Soho Society has announced two more openings in London—at the Cardinal Place development in Victoria and Dickens Yard in Ealing. Both units are around 4,000 square feet in size. The openings will join Balans Soho Society’s other sites in Clapham, Soho, Covent Garden, Kensington and the Westfield centres at Stratford and White City.

Darts bar concept Flight Club has submitted an application to open at the Nova development in Victoria in late autumn. It wants a space with room for 18 darts boards there, making it the biggest Flight Club venue so far. Flight Club already operates in Shoreditch and Bloomsbury and is also planning an opening in Chicago. Founder Steve Moore said: “The NOVA development is a landmark site in the heart of Victoria with excellent transport links, and is an area we’d love to be a part of.”

Drake & Morgan has launched its latest new venture, Devonshire Terrace in the City. The all-day bar and restaurant—previously run by Corney & Barrow, which was acquired by Drake & Morgan, will have room for 300 people and becomes Drake & Morgan’s 22nd location.

BrewDog says it will open 17 new bars this year. They will include six in Scotland, in Glasgow, Perth, Inverurie, Peterhead, St Andrews and Edinburgh Airport, and four in England, including three in London. International sites will include Seoul, Paris, Barcelona Airport, Norrkoping and Reykjavik, as well as the US.

EAT has opened a new store at Liverpool Street with TRG Concessions. The 2,500 square feet site continues a partnership between the two companies in travel hubs.

Leon has announced more plans for Tuk Shop, its new pop-up Thai street food brand. It will debut in the next few weeks at Leon’s Shaftesbury Avenue branch. It is a joint venture with Bangkok-based food group Aylmer Aaharn.  Leon co-founder John Vincent said: “I hope that in the long-run Tuk Shop will allow everyone in the UK to experience the joy of Thai food.”

Drinks consultant Tony Conigliaro is partnering with Japanese beer brand Asahi Super Dry to launch a Moon Garden bar at his Dalston restaurant and bar Untitled. It will launch in mid-May.

D&D London has opened its second Bluebird restaurant—a 5,000 square feet site at the redevelopment of the BBC’s Television Centre at White City in west London.

Charles Wells has taken its Pizza, Pots and Pints pub offer to a fifth location, at the Carpenters Arms in Cambridge.

A new Latin American and Mediterranean fusion concept called Zuaya is opening on Kensington High Street later this year. The 2,500 square feet unit will have a ground floor bar counter and 50-cover dining space, with more dining space in the basement and on an outside terrace. Shelley Sandzer acted in the deal.

Taco Bell opens its 25th restaurant in the UK next week—in Bournemouth.

Craft brewer Two Tribes has opened a taproom at Tileyard Studios in King’s Cross. It is offering street food-style food and live music as well Two Tribes’ beers.

Bubble tea concept Bubbleology is opening in Clifton in Bristol this week. The brand has nine locations in London and two more outside, at Bluewater and in Manchester.
